Pennsylvania's 2nd Round of Antlerless Deer License Sales Begins Today

If you missed out during the first round or are looking to purchase an additional antlerless deer license, today marks the start of Pennsylvania's 2nd Round of Antlerless Deer License sales.

Beginning Monday, July 27, 2026, at 8:00 AM, eligible resident and nonresident hunters can purchase available antlerless deer licenses on a first-come, first-served basis through the Pennsylvania Game Commission's licensing system. During the second round, general hunting license holders may possess up to two antlerless deer licenses, provided licenses remain available in their desired Wildlife Management Unit (WMU).

Pennsylvania Antlerless Deer Licenses: Who Can Apply During Round 2?

The second round includes several types of antlerless deer licenses, including:

• Resident antlerless deer licenses

• Nonresident antlerless deer licenses

• Resident Disabled Veteran antlerless deer licenses

• Resident Armed Forces antlerless deer licenses

• Resident and nonresident landowner antlerless deer licenses

Don't Wait Too Long

Antlerless deer licenses are sold based on remaining allocations within each Wildlife Management Unit. Popular WMUs can sell out quickly, so purchasing early gives you the best chance of securing a license for your preferred hunting area. Hunters can also monitor remaining license allocations in real time through the Pennsylvania Game Commission's HuntFishPA system.

If you plan to purchase additional antlerless licenses later in the season, the Pennsylvania Game Commission's remaining sales schedule is:

• Round 3: August 10, 2026 (includes DMAP permits)

• Round 4: August 24, 2026
